Our mission, “Bringing efficacy to Japan,” is rooted in my experiences abroad.
After returning to Japan from Hong Kong and Singapore, I began to question why Japanese junior high school students so rarely voiced their own opinions. Then, in high school, I spent time in India, and an experience there moved me to tears. It was a discussion on a very simple topic: “What's your dream?” Every one of my Indian classmates raised their hand and spoke about their big dreams with complete confidence.
Seeing them, I thought Japan was going to lose when it came to people. In fact, Japan has been slipping in the World Talent Ranking year after year, and the factors behind that decline are tied to exactly this kind of efficacy.
In the end, I suppose what lies at the root of my drive is this country. Our work on Japan's super-aged society is a major step toward it. By building businesses that better support the well-being of older people, we can raise their sense of self-efficacy, and I believe it will spread to their children's generation and on to their grandchildren's.
We will bring efficacy to Japan.
Hodaka Moriyama, Representative Director & CEO, EEFUL Holdings, Inc.

Values
- Good for Society
- Respect the law and good manners, and genuinely want to make society better. We want to lift Japan up and bring happiness to more people.
- Explosive Drive
- Never decide on your own that something is impossible. If it is physically possible, do it. Every challenge brings anxiety, but that anxiety is proof that you are taking one on.
- Optimize the Whole
- The team before yourself, the company before the team, the industry before the company. Think with a long, broad view, unbound by place or passing trends.
